Return To Duty - Patriot Patient Care For Injured SOFACTIVE DUTY GUARD RESERVE

Patriotic Patient Care

We're a 501c3 nonprofit helping US Special Operations Forces (SOF) with spine injuries find and receive the highest quality healthcare options, education, and treatment.

Professional athletes have access to the most advanced medical procedures and experienced surgeons... Why shouldn't our elite tactical operators?

Help Special Forces Operators With Spine Injuries Extend Careers & Improve Quality of Life.

US Special Operations Forces (SOF) subject their bodies and minds to "wear and tear" daily in the line of duty. Unfortunately, not all advancements in medical care are accessible through the DoD.

Our mission is to help those with spine injuries receive help and access to the medical industry's best practices, most recent innovations, and premier healthcare providers.

So many within the SOF community are hardwired to keep working with or through pain, prioritizing the mission over their own health and comfort. We've seen this time and again. It is a constant reminder and driving force for us to help provide them with the quality healthcare options, education, and support they need to live their lives to the fullest.

How We're Making A Difference...

“It is an honor to be involved in Return to Duty, an organization dedicated to helping our public servants access the high-quality care they need and deserve. By curating an extensive network of top notch physicians, disseminating valuable patient education content, and providing a community for patient advocacy—RTD provides a guiding light through an often opaque and convoluted medical system.”

Dr. Peter Derman
RTD Provider, Spine Surgeon

"The work RTD is doing is so needed and LONG overdue! As a commander, I understand that our people are our greatest asset... Through RTD, an Airman of mine was able to find a provider and avoid an unnecessary surgery that would have likely put her out of service and limited her quality of life significantly—not to mention the financial burden and medical discharge. Thanks to RTD she is still a proud member of the United States Air Force. An ABSOLUTE WIN for her, the unit, and our country!"

Robin S
RTD Member, USAF Commander

"I was scheduled for a very invasive, career-ending procedure. RTD connected me with a provider who reviewed my case, asked me about my goals, and helped me get care. The care provided was minimally invasive and improved my quality of life tremendously. Without RTD, I would be in a very different place."
